Chapter 10 - All That Matters

Jia-Hao was pleased with his daughter. She was everything a father could ever want in a child; kind, smart, sweet and beautiful. As he walked out of the room, a brown haired man ran to him.

He was similarly dressed with Hao-Hao and the wind was blowing his clothes. His blue eyes sparkled in disbelief and excitement. The man was Jun-Jie Guan, Hao's best friend and companion.

"Hao, do you know what the ladies think?" He asked in Mandarin with a curious look of his girlish face. The two had grown up in the Celestial Palace, before being sent down to earth and just like Hao, he was a god.

"In English." He said.

"So," He switched his dialect to English. "They think you have a child, a girl to be exact. Is it true? You can trust me."

"Yes, I have a little girl."

Jun jumped around in joy. "I have to see her."

"She's asleep and I don't want her waking up." He took Jun's hand and pulled him away.

"Who is her mother? Rumor has it that you brought a young woman on a ship. Is she the mother of the girl?"

"Yes, but don't tell." He dragged him out of the deck.

They both saw a young brunette running towards them. She accidentally hit Hao-Hao, knocking him over. She looked up at Hao and bowed apologetically.

"Apologies your lordship." She quickly darted to the ship's deck.

"I assume that's her mother." Jun helped Hao-Hao stand up.

"Yes. That's her." They both began walked away.

"You could like her enough to bang her, even to the extent of getting her pregnant." Jun teased him.

"Shut up." Hao-Hao slapped his head.

Li-li was embarrassed after bumping into Hao-Hao and his friend. She went to the room were her daughter was sleeping and carried her back up.

She smiled at the sleeping girl and stood among the other women. She felt someone wrapped an arm around her waist. She turned to see Hao-Hao holding her waist and staring at the vast ocean.

They were so close that she could feel his body heat and her face instantly became pink.

"Hao-Hao, what are you doing?" She whispered to him. "What happened to 'no one should know she is the mother of my child'?"

"I don't care." He pinched Mei-Mei's cheek. "You two are all that matter."
