[Back To The Present]
The cafe was silent except for the glass wind chime hung by the veranda. It softly chimes along with the breeze.
"How long do we plan on sitting like this?" It had been a few hours since they had decided to sit on the floor.
Yeong-su had his back against the pole while Aera sat between his legs. He wrapped both hands around her waist while he rested his chin on her shoulder. He hadn't spoken a word after they hugged. He had no words to utter but to simply embrace her. He wanted to ensure that this was happening and that he did not have to wait any longer.
He felt as though his chest was finally loosened from a tight grip that had always felt like being tied up by a rope. Every part of his body felt exhausted and gave out. He simply wanted to lie down and maybe take a rest. Simply thinking about all his struggles and effort made him embrace her even more.
"Maybe, a few more hours," he answered.
