Baldur was silent for some time.
Then he roared in laughter,
"I see! Is that so...!"
He continued to laugh for a long time.
Finally, after a few minutes had gone by, the laughing stopped.
"I respect your reasons, Cain the Golden Demon. In that case, I will be fighting you as a worthy opponent."
Cain closed his eyes and let out a sigh of resignation.
'Of course the bastard still has something up his sleeves.' Cain thought bitterly.
Unfortunately, the had no other choice but to see it through. After all, there was no way he would be avoiding this battle. And while his enemy did seem rather terrifying, he unfortunately had enough faith in himself to know he was not going to lose.
However, that faith was quickly put to the test...
A smoldering of bright radiance enveloped Baldur's arm. His old weapon was gone, and in its blade was a snow white greatsword.
The moment he laid his eyes on the weapon, all the nerves in his body began screaming.
