The small star continued to balloon in size until it had become large enough to illuminate the entire battlefield in its scourging glare and heat.
Then it grew even more.
And more.
And more.
Until it had become a personality in the Evernight sky, turning night to day.
The light of the crimson moon was overshadowed for a moment.
And the world was dyed in light once again, so much so, the gory scene down below was revealed to all eyes in its magnificent horror.
Rivers of blood.
Hills of bodies, piled higher thant the broken ruins.
Perhaps, the veil and clouds blocking their eyes should have been lifted.
However, so depe they were entrenched, no one, no human, no Devil, seemed to noticed the flood of light from the new Sun.
That luminous grace only lasted for a moment, thought.
Beside the enormous sun, a smaller star appeared. It was red, just like the blood moon.
However, it gave off a sinister, otherworldly glow unlike the abhorrent crimson moon.
