Chapter 16 - CHAPTER - 16 SERRA

A black Mercedes G-Wagon was seen stopping at a large mall parking lot in Istinye Park, Istanbul, Turkiye. The valet opened the door. A beautiful girl stepped out of the car. The girl was wearing an elegant blue dress that showed her style, while carrying a designer bag with the same color as her dress. Her blonde hair was curled beautifully.

It seemed that the girl was very confident with her appearance. Her demeanor was indeed cheerful every day. She never showed a gloomy face. Always enthusiastic and full of confidence. She was the type of girl who knew she was beautiful and smart.

Her face looked perfectly beautiful. The girl's beauty was derived from her mother's face. Her mother was even more elegant, a former model.

Tall and slender stature, 5'10", elegant. Her skin was fair, glowing. At first glance, she looked like the models on television. Beside her was a middle-aged woman, about 45 years old, but looking 30, wearing all designer clothes. Her mother. They both walked to a fancy restaurant on the top floor in Istanbul, Nusr-Et Steakhouse.

They sat on a soft and long velvet couch. A few moments later, a waiter from the restaurant came up to them. Finally, they ordered their favorite food and drink menu. Wagyu steak. The look on their faces showed the two of them were waiting for someone's arrival. Checking their phones every minute.

After the restaurant waiter delivered their orders, a handsome man and an older woman appeared to approach the two of them. It was Bahadir and his mother, Mrs. Ayla. Bahadir was wearing a black suit under a cream silk shirt. His appearance looked neat like a young CEO. His face was still cold, still heartbroken, but he tried to smile for his mother.

Bahadir was introduced by his mother to Serra, the daughter of her mother's best friend. The beautiful girl of Turkish-American descent is a smart and clever girl. Her father is a Turkish citizen, a businessman in oil. While her mother is a citizen of the United States. However, this time she came all the way to Turkiye just because she was going to be introduced to Bahadir. It was her mother who asked and forced her to come to Turkiye. "A billionaire heir, single, you must meet him."

Serra was already used to living in the country where her mother came from, Los Angeles. Serra is a graduate student, cum laude, at Harvard University, United States. Business major. Judging from her appearance and the way she spoke, it was clear that she was indeed a smart and well-educated girl. But also used to luxury lifestyle.

Serra introduced herself to Bahadir, flipping her hair, Serra said with a perfect American accent, "My name is Serra Yazici! But you can call me Serra. Like, Serra with an S."

"Bahadir Emrah," Bahadir answered briefly, coldly. He didn't even look at her eyes. He looked at his watch.

Bahadir's mother and Serra's mother deliberately avoided and left the two of them alone, going to another table to gossip, so that the two of them could freely meet and chat. The mothers' plan.

"Are you speaking English every day? Your Turkish has an accent," asked Bahadir to start the conversation, just to be polite. He didn't want to be there.

"Yes, of course! Like, I live in the USA, in LA. So, like, obviously I speak English every day. But, I can speak Turkish, like, a little bit. My Turkish is not perfect," replied Serra, giggling, touching Bahadir's arm.

After a while chatting, Serra talking about herself non-stop, about Harvard, about her life in Beverly Hills, about her followers, Serra said that she had to go home soon. Because her friends would come to her house for a party. It turned out that Serra's mother had come home first with Ayla, so finally Bahadir had to take the girl home. He didn't want to, but his mother texted him: "Take her home, son, be a gentleman."

In the car, his black Bentley Continental, the beautiful woman noticed the blue-eyed man's behavior. He was silent, cold, looking straight at the road, not looking at her dress at all. Other men would stare. But not Bahadir. It seemed that the girl was getting more interested in Bahadir. His coldness made him more attractive. His blue-gray eyes looked beautiful and clear, as clear as morning dew, seemed to twinkle with sadness.

"So handsome! So hot! Oh my God, I think, I like this man! No..no..! Focus, Serra. I approached him only because Mom said so, not to love him. But he is different. This is not what I planned! Don't fall, Serra," Serra muttered to herself in her heart, looking at Bahadir's perfect jawline.

In the car, Serra was busy with her daydreams. Her admiration for the man made her speechless, just staring. She tried to take a selfie with Bahadir secretly for her Story.

When the car that Bahadir was driving arrived right in front of Serra's huge villa in Yenikoy, overlooking the Bosphorus, the girl startled and interrupted her reverie, which had been busy looking at the face of the blue-eyed man.

"Serra, we have arrived. Tell your mother I said hi. I'm sorry! I can't stop by your house because it's late. I have an early meeting," Bahadir said, cold, opening the door for her but not getting out.

"Okay! Don't worry! See you later, Bahadir! Call me, okay? Like, text me?" replied Serra, trying to kiss his cheek, but Bahadir stepped back politely.

Then the man opened the car door for the girl politely. The girl got out of the car, walking elegantly. She walked and went into her house, looking back, hoping Bahadir would watch her. But Bahadir immediately drove away.

In fact, her mother had been waiting for her since earlier. Her mother was in the living room. She saw her princess had just come home escorted by the blue-eyed man in a Bentley. She said to her daughter, excited, "How? How was your introduction? Is he interested in you? How's the reaction? Did he ask for your number?"

"Nothing! There's nothing special, Mom. We didn't talk much. We just ate and talked for a while, then he drove me home, that is it. He was so cold, like an ice block. Come on Mom! Don't force me to approach a cold and stiff man like Bahadir. He's boring," Serra replied, throwing her bag on the sofa.

"Why Serra? Aren't you attracted to him? He is a billionaire heir! Emrah Holding! One of the biggest in Turkiye! It doesn't matter if he's cold! The important thing is that you can get his heart. Mom has big plans. Don't waste this golden opportunity. Remember! If you marry him, you will be part of great family," her mother said.

"It's not like that, Mom. Actually, I'm interested in him. He is so handsome, my type. But he was too cold and indifferent. He's the coolest, most handsome guy I've ever met. Different from those LA boys," Serra said, blushing now.

"Okay! Be patient, dear! Don't just give up. You have to try hard. Mom supports you. This is a good opportunity to approach him. Mom heard from his mother that he just broke up with his girlfriend from Indonesia. You have a chance now to know him better. You are smart and beautiful, Serra," said the mother.

"Okay! I understand! I want to sleep right now, Mom! I'm tired," Serra said, running to her bedroom.

The girl entered her luxury room. Then she lay down on her king-size bed. Her eyes widened as she looked up at the ceiling, imagining the face of the man she had just met. It seemed that it was not Bahadir who was trapped, but she who was trapped and enchanted by the handsome blue-eyed man.

His cold smile, the way he spoke shortly, and his blue-gray eyes that looked sad resounded in her mind. Oh, she was really so fascinated by the look in his sad blue eyes. The girl smiled to herself until she forgot her drowsiness. She opened Instagram and started looking at Bahadir Emrah's profile.

Serra would do anything to win the heart of this handsome man. She forgot that her initial goal was just to meet because her mother asked. Instead, she was falling in love and being carried away by the feelings of her heart. Love can't be planned. Because that feeling came suddenly. No one can order or prevent it. It arises naturally and purely. Even for a girl like Serra.

At the same time, 9,000 kilometers away in Bantul, I was holding Bahadir's birthday gift, unopened. I didn't know a beautiful rival in Istanbul was already dreaming about my blue-eyed man.
