On his way back to his abode, Yang Qing decided to stop by the Thousand Flavors Restaurant for a little takeaway. As busy as he was, the idea of breaking his regular habits rang alarm bells within him.
He was already acting out of character. It was close to three in the morning, and while others were meditating, cultivating, or doing whatever they did in their leisure time, he was running back and forth like the most driven bee in the hive—and Yang Qing did not like that.
Since his time in the Hebei Kingdom, the paranoid part of his mind had begun to worry that he was being mind-controlled, given all the things he had been doing that were so out of character.
So to prove that he was not, in fact, being mind-controlled and slowly transformed into a workhorse for the Order, Yang Qing decided to stop by the Thousand Flavors Restaurant as an act of defiance and to settle his own worries.
