*Morsi's Mansion*
Nessy woke up, stretching herself on the bed and yawning loudly. She felt exhausted and somehow sick. She blinked several times to adjust to the unfamiliar sight around her. Everywhere felt strange, as if she were in a completely different place—somewhere she had never been.
Sitting up on the bed, she rubbed her forehead and realized she had been sweating in her sleep. Her head spun as she looked around, confirming she was indeed in a different room. Not just a different room, but a different house. She stood up, feeling dizzy for a few seconds before regaining her balance.
Taking a few steps toward the nearest window, she drew the curtains and looked outside to orient herself. The sight surprised her—it was still night, and the place was nothing like her mansion. Though it was a mansion as well, it looked beautiful but not nearly as breathtaking as hers.
'Where am I?' she wondered anxiously as she rushed to the door, lucky it wasn't locked.
She hurried out and immediately bumped into something—or someone. Rubbing her forehead in pain, she looked up to realize she had collided with a person. She had hit her head against his hard chest, which hurt.
"Who are you?" she asked rudely. "Why am I here?"
"My lady, you are awake," the man said with a beaming smile, ignoring her questions.
"I asked a question, mister! Did you kidnap me?" her grey orbs pierced him with a death stare.
"I am Urchan, my lady," the man replied, the same smile fixed on his face.
"I don't care," she snapped. "Why am I here? Where is this?"
"My lady, yo…" Urchan began, but was abruptly cut off by another voice unfamiliar to Nessy.
"That will be enough, Urchan. Leave us," the voice commanded.
At this, Urchan bowed to the owner of the voice and left her alone with the man.
"Nessy Saadid… Nessy… Nes," he mimed as he closed the distance with an evil smile, eyeing her like prey.
"Who are you? Why am I here? Where is this?" she asked breathlessly, uncomfortable with the man before her. He seemed dangerous—very dangerous—and she could sense the danger radiating from him.
"Too many questions, dear," he said with an annoying smile. "How about we go inside, have a warm bath together, and discuss it in the tub? How does that sound, Nes?"
Nessy felt disgusted. Who was this man? And why was he speaking as if she belonged to him, as if she would obey any command? Did he even know who she was? And why was she here in the first place?
"I don't know who you are, and I don't care. Why am I here? Why have you brought me here?"
"Are you sure you don't care to know who I am?" he said, pacing around her. "You know, it's quite absurd not to know the name of your husband and owner," he grinned.
Husband? Owner? What was this deranged man talking about? Was he really sane, or was she hallucinating? She was sure he had the wrong girl. She was Nessy Saadid—CEO of Saadid Company—unmarried and belonging to no one. No… she did belong to someone—and that someone was Geb, and Geb alone. Besides, where was he? She worried silently.
"Look, mister, I think you have the wrong girl. I am not the Nessy Saadid you're looking for—your wife, I mean. I am not her. I'm the CEO of Saadid Company, and I can sue you for kidnapping. So, for the good of all and so I don't press charges, I kindly request you let me go. I won't press charges nor send you to jail. I'll forget this day like it never happened," she said confidently, hoping he understood every word.
"Ha ha ha!" he laughed loudly. "I'm not mistaken, my dear. In fact, I've never been right all my life. You are mine and mine alone. You belong to me, Nessy Saadid, CEO of Saadid Company. I don't have the wrong girl—I have the one for me." He reached to touch her face.
Nessy slapped his hand away with all her force and disgust. "You're crazy!" she yelled, but he ignored her, acting as if she weren't speaking, his gaze raking her body as he licked his lips, intoxicated by the sight.
"Who are you?" she finally demanded, feeling the urge to know. His intimidating aura was like Geb's, but far more intense. She felt her whole being subdued by some will or power. Who was he, really? And where did he come from?
"Very well, baby girl. Now you're talking," he said seductively with an alluring smile.
"I am demon lord Aposis," he declared with authority and will. "Your owner and claimer of your innocence—as you are going to be my consort."
'Is it just me, or is he babbling rubbish to scare or intimidate me?' Nessy thought, looking at him with disgust before asking again.
"Who are you?" she asked with irritation and a smirk. "And this time, try saying you're a god, because calling yourself a demon sounds creepy, and I'm not a fan of creepy things. As for this nonsense about being my owner and all that crap, I wonder where you got that from—because I don't belong to you. I belong to someone else," she said, glaring fiercely.
Aposis struggled to keep his temper. Why was she making things so difficult, even though he had decided to take things slow with her, knowing full well she was arrogant? What baffled him most were her words that she belonged to someone else. He knew it was Geb—and he seriously didn't like that. He gritted his teeth at the thought.
"I already told you who I am," he retorted. "And if you don't believe me, I can show you," he said alluringly, stepping closer.
He looked directly into her grey orbs, captivating her with his fiery eyes.
The air grew still. Nessy felt detached from herself, as if she were moving but not acting of her own will. Her hands traced his jawline as though under a spell. She tried to stop her hands, but her head moved as well.
Her face drew closer to his; she rose on tiptoes. She felt his hot breath on her lips, his mouth just an inch away.
'Oh no, what's happening to me? Oh God, help me! Geb, where are you? What is this?' she cried hysterically inside, as his lips brushed hers ever so slightly.
Worse yet, her body refused to obey her will and simply obeyed whatever force compelled her. She tried to pull back many times, but her body remained still, her lips pouted as though desperate for a kiss. She felt utterly embarrassed but helpless.
Aposis bubbled with amusement inside as he felt her struggle against his manipulation. If he hadn't known better, he would have said she truly possessed willpower to resist the demon lord's control.
He made her lean into him for a kiss, then held her there for a few seconds to torment her.
He was thoroughly enjoying the moment but finally pecked her pouted lips before releasing her mind—the sensation too seductive for him to resist.
Nessy regained full control and asked Aposis fearfully, "What just happened? Did you just kiss me?"
She hoped for a negative answer, but he nodded.
*PAAM!*
She slapped his left cheek. "How could you do that to me? You just abused me, and I can sue you for that," she said sternly.
Aposis had had enough. He pushed her against the wall and said, "You never believed I was a demon, so I proved it to you—in my own way—by manipulating you and just pecking you. Dare me again, and I promise I won't stop there." …
