Chapter 14 - I haven't done this before

*Present Egypt*

Geb opened his eyes to behold the beautiful interior of Nessy's room. He had fallen asleep on the couch beside the table at the center, keeping vigil over her all night. The incident with Morsi Mubarak still weighed heavily on his mind. He sensed something dark lurking around Morsi, something he didn't yet understand. He knew he needed to talk to Nessy about what was said—and what she planned to do.

Jolting from his thoughts, Geb stretched as he rose. His eyes scanned the king-sized bed—it was empty and immaculately made, as if untouched. His heart skipped a beat, but he forced himself to relax. Rushing to the bathroom, he found it empty and dry, no sign Nessy had bathed or prepared for the day. 'Wait… today's Saturday; she shouldn't have gone anywhere.'

Using the duplicate mind, Geb searched for any appointments or errands Nessy might have planned—but found nothing.

He searched the mansion thoroughly. Calling her name at the top of his voice, barging into every room. Finally, he heard faint noise in the kitchen. Hope flickered in his chest as he hurried there, eager to find his consort.

In the kitchen, his eyes darted around until they landed on her. Nessy stood by the stove, dressed in a transparent light pink gown that complemented her grey eyes and revealed her thighs. She wore cute black slippers that suited her feet perfectly. Geb swallowed hard at the sight—her dark undergarments visible beneath the gown reminded him of the earth's bare richness when Nut sent rain.

Thinking of Nut stirred something deep inside him. This mortal was provoking feelings beyond control, yet he held his peace, unwilling to rush.

Nessy wore headphones and likely hadn't heard him approach. The delicious aroma from the stove filled the air.

Geb stepped forward and gently tapped her shoulder. Startled, she turned and pulled off her headphones, surprise flashing across her face. She had forgotten she wasn't alone—especially with a man in the house—and wouldn't have worn such a revealing gown otherwise.

'Oh Lord, what will he think now?' she thought anxiously. 'He might believe I'm trying to seduce him or desperate for his touch—or worse, see me as a woman craving sex!' She imagined the worst. She didn't want to be misjudged by anyone—especially not her employee. Yes, Geb was incredibly handsome—too gorgeous for any man—but she had never intended to seduce him or invite him to bed. She might still be innocent, her chastity intact, but that didn't mean she was desperate for a man's arms.

"Hi…" she managed, swallowing hard as heat rushed through her.

"Hi," he replied with a smirk. "What a lovely morning, Nessy," he said, the smile lingering.

Nessy felt her heart flutter. He rarely called her by name; since the day they met, he'd addressed her as "princess," "mortal," or worse, spoken directly without using her name. The warmth beneath her skin intensified. Her heart raced wildly against her ribs. She felt lost—in the presence of this man, who was he really?

"Yes, Geb, it really is a lovely morning… and I'm making breakfast," she said, attempting to ease the tension.

Geb noticed her nervousness and shyness. Her face was flushed, and he liked the sight. He smiled, making her blush deeper as he read her thoughts and glimpsed her wild imaginings.

Nessy grew uncomfortable, frozen in place as Geb stepped back and let his gaze rake over her body. Normally, such attention disgusted her, but this time she felt loved and desired. A warm fire kindled inside her.

"Why don't you go to the sitting room and maybe watch TV while I handle things here?" she said nervously, her breath quickening from slow pants to heaving, trying desperately to control it—and embarrassed that Geb noticed.

But Geb's slow approach didn't help. He kept closing the distance, locking her grey eyes in intense contact. Temptation had been mounting all day; now he needed release.

They moved closer and closer—Nessy stepping backward until her back hit the fridge. Only then did she allow herself a moment to fully take in his form. He was stunning—like a god fallen from heaven. His body was the sexiest she'd ever seen. Even the male models she posed with paled in comparison. He looked sculpted by the gods themselves, his skin perfectly toned.

She imagined how it would feel to be held tightly in his strong arms—loved, needed, cherished.

Geb was lost in lust. He wanted all of her—her curves visible beneath the thin fabric provoking both his mortal flesh and godly desire. Her lips, moist and tempting as she licked them dry, called to him. He read her thoughts to gauge her fear or hesitation—and was surprised. She adored him and longed to be in his arms more than her body revealed.

His self-control snapped.

He took her hands and pinned them to the fridge, leaning close so his warm breath caressed her slender neck. He brushed his nose over the delicate skin before placing soft kisses there. Seconds passed as he licked, sucked, and kissed her neck simultaneously. She tasted sweet, and he intended to savor every moment before claiming her.

Nessy closed her eyes, lost in the pleasure. She'd never felt anything so intoxicating and didn't want it to end. Her moans escaped freely, embarrassing her, but she cared little. The sensation was unlike anything before.

Geb lifted her onto the dining table, continuing his kisses down her neck, shoulders, and arms. She tasted divine, and he wanted all of her. Already, she was a moaning mess.

He moved to her thighs, planting gentle kisses, but she clasped her legs tightly and pushed him away slightly.

"No… that's enough," she gasped, trying to catch her breath.

Geb ignored her protest, pressing on as his hunger remained unsated. She yielded, releasing uncontrollable moans that both startled and thrilled her.

When he once again kissed her inner thighs, she didn't resist. Instead, she held his head and looked deeply into his eyes.

"I haven't done this before," she whispered
