Archer still remembered how he risked his life and his career to see Journee after she was in that bomb blast. He made sure no one would recognise him and went to see her. He wanted to kiss her then and there, but she was injured, lying in bed, resting.
"Deny all you want; you know she means something to you. You even enjoy fighting with her. And I am sure that you are going to parade your car right before her eyes the next time you see her," taunted the mechanic.
"For the love of God, shut up! And tell me how much I have to pay," snapped Archer.
The mechanic tucked his lips to avoid laughing and went up to his register. He brought out a receipt and handed it over to Archer. "This is your bill."
"Hmm…" Archer scanned the bill and paid the full amount. He drove first to his home and completed his morning routine. He didn't have time to have breakfast. He grabbed the bug he found on his shirt and called up Noelle. It took her time to pick up the call.
"Uhh… yes!" she answered.
