Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Spatial Inheritance

After an unknown period of time, the misty white light before her eyes dissipated. Upon waking, Nianyang found herself in a boundless expanse of heaven and earth.

Underfoot was a green lawn, with vast orchards and a clear hot spring in the distance. Nearby, there were several rows of uncultivated fields and a misty round well.

And not far behind the round well, there was also a pyramid shining with white light.

Looking at the magical scene before her, a trace of surprise surfaced in Nianyang's eyes.

My goodness, could this possibly be the legendary magical space?

Having the opportunity for rebirth was already a defiance of the heavens, and now fate had even given her such a powerful cheat. She truly was too lucky.

Nianyang excitedly ran under the orchard, her stomach growling as she gazed at the trees laden with all sorts of crystal-clear and fragrant fruits.

Since she's able to appear in this space, the things in it should be real, right? She should have the right to use them, right?

Nianyang tentatively reached out, successfully plucking a peach from a tree. In this space where it's like spring all year round, the peaches were plump and juicy with droplets of dew on them. Nianyang hadn't eaten dinner and was starving, so she took a big bite.

The juicy pulp burst between her teeth, the juice was sweet and refreshing, and the taste was crisp and fragrant. It was definitely the best peach Nianyang had ever tasted!

After eating three large and round peaches in one breath, Nianyang turned and scooped up two handfuls of water from the round well. Since even the peaches were incredibly delicious, she believed the spring water from the well couldn't be ordinary.

As soon as she drank it, indeed, even the spring water carried a wheaty sweetness.

Full and satisfied, Nianyang let out a burp, feeling all her fatigue swept away, her entire spirit instantly rejuvenated a hundredfold.

She hadn't expected this spring water to have the effect of strengthening her body. Nianyang immediately felt she'd struck it rich. With this spring water, she could use it as a medicinal primer to enhance the effectiveness of drugs and would no longer fear being exhausted after a night's vigil.

Suppressing the urge to squeal like a groundhog, Nianyang walked to the base of the pyramid, seeing the words Traditional Chinese Medicine Family inscribed above. The door was ajar, and as she pushed it open, an extremely rich medicinal fragrance wafted over her.

Nianyang walked inside and was instantly stunned by the scene that unfolded before her.

For inside, it was like a 21st-century medical research room, with large shelving units on both sides. The shelves had various compartments containing all sorts of medicinal tools, organized and categorized.

In the center of the room was a round white table, on which sat an ancient-looking black cauldron. The cauldron had a dragon-head shape and could be stoked from below. Nianyang observed carefully and discovered that the cauldron was five hundred years old, used by ancient Traditional Chinese Medicine masters for making medicine. It was a famous alchemical treasure!

She hadn't expected there to be such a great treasure inside the pyramid. Nianyang eagerly wanted to touch the cauldron, but was blocked by an invisible barrier.

"Strange, why can't I touch it?"

Unconvinced, Nianyang tried several more times with the same result. She tried touching other things around but found that nothing in the room could be moved, even the path to the second floor was also blocked by barriers.

Nianyang felt a little disappointed, seeing the treasure in front of her but being unable to use it, she was itching with desire!

[Master, you're finally here!] Accompanied by a soft muffled voice, a fluffy white ball floated over in the air.

"Who are you? Why do you call me Master?" Nianyang asked curiously. Having accepted both the rebirth and the magical space, she wasn't surprised at the talking white ball.

[Hello Master, I am the Guardian Spirit of the Medical Space. You are the space's recognized Inheritor, so naturally, you are my Master.]

The round fluffy ball rubbed against Nianyang's cheek familiarly, as if to act coquettishly.

"Medical Space? What's all this about?" Nianyang was completely baffled.
