This is a fleet.
Even though their numbers are not as many as the Tribunal's warships, this fleet is well-rested, whereas many of the Tribunal's warships are slightly or even moderately damaged, having just gone through a battle with an unexpected enemy. It's quite normal that they are not in the best shape.
But this does not mean they can't handle the Space Undead.
The Space Undead's ships are very fast, extremely fast, and their firepower is very strong, incredibly strong. Logically, a commander would choose to scatter the fleet at this point, and then surround the enemy as much as possible, using numerical superiority to counterattack. However, Aikute did the opposite; she didn't scatter the fleet. Instead, Aikute chose to gather all the warships together and ordered the flagship and the rear units to retreat quickly, appearing as panicked deserters attempting to immediately flee the battlefield due to a surprise attack.
A foolish choice.
