"It seems the Power of Bond perfectly counters sleep-based Skills," Qiao Sang thought, various ideas flashing through her mind. "Lafeid doesn't have any Pet Beasts that evolved through the Power of Bond, so I don't need to worry about that... But then again, he does have a Pet Beast that can sense the good and evil intentions of surrounding creatures. If it can't sense those in a dream, the illusion might be seen through."
"Did Gangbao see through the dream using the Power of Bond?" Mikaela asked after a moment of thought, having watched the scene unfold from the sidelines.
Qiao Sang gave a hum of agreement. "The moment it saw me, it knew the dream was fake."
"Pet Beasts that possess the Power of Bond are indeed the ultimate counter to dream-related Skills," Mikaela mused. "It's a pity Little Treasure Spirit doesn't know All-Knowing Dream. Otherwise, there would be no need to fear the Power of Bond."
