Shiro and Rienn were running through the streets when something boomed above them. Buildings began to collapse and civilians screamed. Several people were crushed by the falling rubble.
"What's happening!?" Rienne cried.
Shiro's instincts as a snow leopard beastman were sounding off alarms. Her hair stood on end and her tail straightened as she scanned the surroundings.
Her gaze flicked upward and she saw it floating there in the sky above. A silver man--no, it was a beast. It's upper half looked like a man but it seemed to be some kind of amalgamation of silver liquid.
"What...is that?"
Rienn followed her gaze and shivered when her eyes landed on what Shiro was seeing. Both of them could tell at a single glance how powerful the creature was.
Shiro looked back at Rienn, her pupils thinned as her body prepared to fight.
