Even Liz, who saw Motan fully disguised as Frank Vest for the first time, was stunned by the huge contrast in her master's demeanor, not to mention Cole, who had seen this style in Academy City several times before.
"Go about your business."
Motan scratched his cheek, as if a bit unaccustomed to the current atmosphere, and softly instructed, then shyly smiled at Liz: "If you get too bored, feel free to step out for some fresh air. I left some money there, buy yourself something you like. Oh, Cole too."
The maid and servant dumbfoundedly nodded.
"Remember to take care of yourselves."
Motan smiled satisfyingly, patted Cole's shoulder, then walked over to Liz and extended his hand, but awkwardly lowered his arm the next second, touched his nose, nodded at her, and quickly left as if escaping.
After a moment
Not until Motan's silhouette completely disappeared in the bustling crowd did Liz turn back to Cole and softly say, "I think the master's mental state is quite worrying."
