They got in the car, and Yun Mu was still nagging.
"Miaomiao, you should have worn the red one, that one looks good."
Tuanzi turned her head, hugging her arms, not agreeing with her brother's taste.
"Wearing that would make me look like a lucky doll."
The styles themselves leaned traditional, with a breezy two-toned hem skirt and a cross-collared jacket. Butterfly buttons perched like butterflies on the cross-collar. The neckline, shoulders, and cuffs had a layer of fine white fuzz.
When Tuanzi wore it, she looked like a snow bunny, adorably charming.
If the clothes were switched to bright red, she'd resemble the lucky doll painted on the doorway.
Yun Mu laughed, poking her chubby cheeks, "But you already are a lucky doll."
After a pause, he added, "To us, you are."
Tuanzi didn't understand, stretching out her short legs to sway them.
"Looking pretty does come with a price, my legs feel chilly."
