"Why are the probabilities so low?" Song Zimo asked.
"Because these are highly drug-resistant late-stage tumors," Yang Ping explained, "Their systems have undergone multiple evolutionary selections, are hijacked deeper, and have more alternative pathways. Our model honestly states: there's no guarantee of success."
"So which one to choose?"
Yang Ping stared at the detailed molecular mechanism predictions of the three paths.
Strategy one is the most straightforward, but may be resisted by the tumor's existing stress tolerance mechanism; strategy two is the most sophisticated, but difficult to design, and has a long production cycle; strategy three is the most novel, but may also be toxic to normal cells.
"Do all three," Yang Ping decided, "But I prioritize strategy three."
Everyone turned to him.
"Professor, your reasoning?"
Because everyone now felt they couldn't keep up with the professor's pace.
