Jane was slumped tiredly on the couch the light of the television giving light to the dark room .
Raye was seated on the floor close to Jane holding a bowl of popcorn .
She scrunched her face , closing her eyes tightly shut before peeking slowly .
"Pass me some popcorn ," Jane said eyes on the TV as Raye raised the bowl before she carried a handful of popcorn she continued " this is the worst serial killer film I have ever watch "
"How are u coping " Jane asked glancing at Raye for a few seconds before moving her eyes to settle it back on the tv not wanting to miss a scene .
"I am still wondering why I ever let you talk me into watching this ...instead of me forgetting my whole dilemma , and having sleepless night from Danielle whole mishap ...I would be having sleepless night from the horror movie ".
Jane chuckled rolling her eyes .
Her best friend like to exaggerate a little .
Though , she didn't watch horror films like her _ she did though ...just a few but when it was in the afternoon not around nine pm .
They didn't mind staying this late because they had afternoon lecture , so they still had time to sleep before their class .
"Why are you still watching then ??".
"Gal , am asking myself that same question .._... AHHH !!!" RAYE SCREAMED .
she placed the bowl of popcorn on the table where some still fell down on the floor covering her eyes .
"Hehe he ...haha , the guy chop the girl head with an axe _ classic carnival movie ".
Raye snapped her eyes open looking up at Jane who had a satisfied grin on her face .
Like they didn't just separated someone head..... like they were slicing vegetables _ like split into two ..
What universe was she brought out from she thought standing up she heaved a sigh .
She wasn't tied up , so why was she trying to give herself heart attack !!!
Just because of some handsome guy _ who her friend is obessesed with and_ ugh .
Raye growled in her head tossing the pillow on the couch , she stretched her legs a little since she felt a little pain after staying in the same position for a long time .
"Jane , I am sleeping in your room this night "
Jane smiled looking at Raye who had a frustrated look on her face . " We haven't gone any where , we haven't even seen the person who is killing them ".
Raye scrunched her face in disgust , folding her hand across her chest .
She didn't want to spoil the movie but here goes nothing .
"It's Erick ok , it's obvious ,look at the concept , Lennie and her friends get lost in the forest , Erick tries to help them and then boom they start dying , Erick has a twin sister who does the killing ...they are pyschos and Miya realized it and informed Lennie before she died ".
"Ugh hhh _ FUCK OFF , SPOILER " Jane yelled tossing a pillow at Raye .
Raye who wasn't quick to duck , got pillow slapped on her face ..
"Ow " Raye yelled turning to glare at jane who huffed pouting her lip..
She picked the pillow throwing it at Jane but she had bad aim so it eventually fell on the floor .
"Hehehe , your aim is bad " Jane said giggling while Raye walked up to her before flicking her forehead ..
"But my flicks are painfully ".
"Curse you , Raye curse you ," Jane said glaring at Raye with narrow eyes as she slowly massaged her forehead she asked ." How did you even know the horror movie even when you haven't watched it ".
"I did a little browsing , " Raye explained but rolled her eyes seeing the confused look on Jane's face. .
She might be thinking , why would she need to browse it but Jane had a stupid thing for not describing things the way they seem .
"You said it was a normal action movie , I didn't trust you ,I had to do some research "..
"Well it's action _ ok fine ,duhh you got me its not action I was just trying to make you forget what happened ".
Raye rolled her eyes sitting at the arm of the chair beside Jane who whistled dropping her legs on the cold tiles , she sat upright on the couch .
"Why did you join me if you know it was horror and you were going to sleep in my room like a two year old .._..ok sorry " Jane moved a little from Raye seeing she was about to flick her forehead .
"I thought It won't be that bad ....the description said thriller and mystery not horror ,and maybe, I had finally grown up a little ....I guess I would still stick to actions , and romance ".
"Mafia ones though " Jane said wiggling her brows as they both fist bumped before laughing out .
"Ok _ alright , ray are you alright , a little better ? "
"I guess , I am trying ...am still thinking about Danielle and how to face Kyle too ".
"Yeah that's a problem , " Jane trailed off looking back at the tv with a distant expression as she continue . " The irony is .so funny , here we are thinking no senior guy could ever date a junior ...boom here is this one ".
"Jane can you also believe that he was the one playing in the street basketball ...the one with the hoodie always on beanie and nose mask ".
Jane gasped her mouth forming an o .
"Come on , no wonder the skills looked similar ..yes very similar ...I noticed it but I decided to flush it thinking maybe ,you know ,basketball skills could be copied ".
"Yeah that's true , but definitely not the body movement , the way his hands moved everything when he dunked , he dribbled.... ".Raye trailed off with a small smile before setting her eyes on Jane .
"Wanna know the funny and hilarious fact of everything else "??
Jane nodded gingerly a frown on her face .
"He likes me ...no let me rephrase the word he had a crush on me , Jane ....famous bad rich guy Kyle had a crush on ME ".
"Girl you are lucky "
"Why am I not feeling lucky " Raye suddenly yelled running her finger through her hair with a tired sigh .
"Calm down my friend , my bestie , calm your heart down ...everything would be fine ok ".Jane said scooting closer to Raye, patting her shoulder slowly .
" We are alright , as long as he hasn't said it out loud. "
Raye raised her head to look at Jane holding a pathetic hopeless look that changed Jane earlier perception.
"Wow , ok girl I ain't going to stop you ...let the tears fall freely ...let it out "..
Jane said while Raye gave out a fake cry before wailing loudly .
"Ok stop _ hahahaha it's ok "Jane said raising Raye face who was sniffling like she was about to cry .
"Everything would be fine ok ".
"Yeah , maybe I would have to avoid him ," Raye muttered staring at Jane who clicked her tongue giving her a ridiculous face .
Even her knew that wasn't a complete solution ..
It was a hard thing hiding from someone who knows the school better than she did .
Though he didn't know most of her department but still ...
And secondly she couldn't forget the fact that this guy was her long lost stalker .
He knew everything about her ... especially when it was in the school .
"I wouldn't stop you though, try hard maybe you could outsmart him " Jane said cheering Raye who gave her a dead expression as she let out a soft yawn blinking twice .
"I think we should go to bed , you already ruined the movie though " Jane said picking the remote she turned off the tv before they both stood up .
Raye stayed in Jane's room , since she was too scared to sleep in hers, after the whole film hazard .
They both eventually fell asleep into a surprisingly quiet and peaceful sleep ..
