Jae-Geun was standing before Nivritti, looking at her sweetly. They were about to bump, but Nivritti saved herself at the last moment.
"What are you doing here?"
"Was coming to talk to you," replied Jae-Geun.
"Me?"
"Yep! I knew you would come for your therapy, and I needed to check your ribs," replied Jae-Geun.
"I had my check-up on Sunday. You were there," said Nivritti.
"Would it be wrong to get that checked today too?" asked Jae-Geun, seriously.
"SJ!"
"Do you want me to call your mother?" warned Jae-Geun.
"You are an idiot! Let's go."
Nivritti half-heartedly followed Jae-Geun to his cabin. He made her lie on the patient's table, and before lying down, she unbuttoned a few of the bottom buttons of her shirt and removed the bandage.
Jae-Geun sighed the moment he saw the black bruise on her left side. Her forehead was all healed now, but her ribs were taking their time. He gently touched the bruise, but that too made Nivritti flinch. A sharp exhale escaped her mouth.
