Back in the 10th district, Haruto would be standing in the convenience store, holding a basket with some soda, candy, chips, and multiple other things. Haruto sighed, looking at his phone. "Nearly 12… I should get back…" Haruto thought to himself. He walked up to the register. "The document had an error… My ass… It's probably locked up for nobody to see…" Haruto internalized. He walked up to the counter and placed the items down. "Will that be all?" The register said. Haruto nodded his head, "That'll be, 12.29." The person at the register said. Haruto pulled out his wallet grabbing a 12 and 1 dollar bill. He placed it on the counter grabbing the bag full of groceries. Suddenly, someone cleared their throat, and Haruto looked up in confusion. Haruto's eyes widened, "Hello Haruto… Long time no see." The person said. Haruto ground his teeth, looking at the person in front of him angrily. "What do you want..?" Haruto asked. The person sighed, "I just wanted to see you." The person said. The person was revealed to be Horoshi Atake (42). "If you wanted to see me you could've for the last 17 years of my life…" Haruto said. Horoshi looked down, "Son, I-"
"Don't call me that!" Haruto shouted. Horoshi looked at Haruto in shock. "Haruto… I… I'm sorry…" Horoshi said. Haruto had a look of anger on his face. "You're sorry?" Haruto asked. Haruto clenched his fists. "You think sorry cuts it?" Haruto asked. Horoshi stood there, not knowing what to say to his son. "You left me for all of my life because the world viewed you as some great hero and that, your son would make you despised!?" Haruto asked.
Horoshi looked surprised. "Haruto…" Horoshi said. Harutk ground his teeth even harder. "Not even one christmas… You didn't even come… FOR ONE CHRISTMAS, BIRTHDAY, OR HOLIDAY IN GENERAL!!" Haruto shouted. Horoshi looked at the ground with his eyes covered in shadows. "I thought I was ready… But apparently I was wrong… And so were you…" Horoshi thought to himself. Horoshi looked at the sky, "Y…" Horoshi said. He then vanished into ash. Haruto clenched his fists hard, as he began to bleed. "He comes back into my life right as I'm on an important mission… What a father…" Haruto said. He began to walk again, back to the hotel.
When Haruto arrived back at the hotel the girls would be asleep, but Shito still sat on the balcony. Haruto walked out there, closing the door behind him slowly. "You were there for a while…" Shiro said. Haruto sighed, "Sorry, got busy… and distracted." Haruto said. Shiro nodded, grabbing a soda from the bag. "So… Have you learned anything about our mystery assassin?" Shiro asked. Haruto nodded, "Maybe…" Haruto said. Shiro looked at Haruto in surprise. "Wait, really?" Shiro asked. Haruto nodded, "Think so." Haruto said. Shiro looked confused, "Think so?" Shiro asked. Haruto nodded, "I asked Asuka." Haruto said. Shiro nodded, "And..?" Shiro questioned. Hatuto cleared his throat, "I asked her to look up something in the staff computers at the school." Haruto said. Shiro looked at Haruto in surprise. "You made her do what?!" Shiro said. Haruto looked at Shiro in confusion. "Why're you making it sound so bad?" Haruto asked.
Haruto pulled out his phone, scrolling. "Cause that is bad Haruto! She could get arrested!" Shiro said. Haruto looked over at Shiro. "I'm not so sure about that…" Haruto said, holding up his phone to Shiro. The headline on the article said, 'Terrorist attack on 13th district, 1 injured, 0 casualties.' Shiro looked surprised. "And that one was injured… Asuka…" Haruto said. Shiro looked down at the ground in anger. "Damn it…" Shiro murmured. Haruto sighed, "Kaito handled the situation… Apparently, she's being offered a higher role in the black angels." Haruto said. Shiro looked at Haruto in confusion. "Kaito?" Shiro asked. Haruto nodded, "Kaito as in Fushiguro?" Shiro asked. Haruto nodded once again, but slightly slower. "Uh-huh… Kaito, middle name: Lazy, Fushiguro." Haruto said. Shiro looked surprised, "There's no way!" Shiro said. Haruto put his finger over his mouth. "Shh, they're asleep…" Haruto whispered. Shiro nodded, "My bad…" Shiro whispered.
The next morning, Shiro and Haruto would be sitting at a table alone, while the Hatzi family ate breakfast together. "So, they tell you the plan for today..?" Shiro asked. Haruto shook his head. Shiro nodded, "I see…" Haruto wore his average outfit while Shiro wore a hawaiian shirt, khaki pants, and flip flops. Shiro looked over at Haruto. "Do you ever get hot in that?" Shiro asked. Haruto shook his head, "Not really." Haruto said. There was an obvious awkward silence. Haruto looked at the Hatzi family eating breakfast together. Haruto cleared his throat, grabbing a cup of water. He downed the water, placing the cup back on the table. "Yadretsey dad ym was I." Haruto said. Shiro looked at him.
