Additionally, the New Continent is home to numerous Magical Beast Tribes and creatures. Far Shore Island alone would take decades to develop it all. It might be better to invite the always neutral Whale Song Cliff to share a piece of the pie. This way, Whale Song Cliff would also help them fend off other Terran Forces eyeing the New Continent.
Unfortunately, Whale Song Cliff politely declined this cooperation proposal—because they are still guarding against the Sea Demon Worms, the alien swarm that once nearly capsized Terra.
The reason seemed utterly bizarre to everyone on Far Shore Island. Though the Sea Demon Bugs indeed still exist, they had long since turned into an ordinary marine Magical Beast Tribe after losing their queen. While they do occasionally engage in skirmishes with humans, they are no longer capable of assembling the monstrous tide of Sea Beasts that once besieged half of Terra's coastline.
