Nancy Allen saw this scene, and her heart somewhat broke.

Nancy handed one of the packed snacks to Julius, and she took one for herself to eat.
The sunset's afterglow was as sorrowful as the day Godfery Shaw disappeared.
Nancy was quietly preparing.

Even though he was disappointed once, he still looked forward to it.
Even if his planned death was right after his birthday, he still looked forward to it.
