Julius Shaw saw Nancy Allen not moving, and still lowering her head looking down.
He said softly, "Nancy, don't look down, don't be afraid, hurry up."
Nancy felt a bit uneasy, looking at Julius Shaw from a high place, it seemed as if Julius Shaw was standing on the edge of an abyss, trying to push her towards the light. It felt like if she climbed up without turning back, Julius Shaw would fall into the abyss.
The car was still slowly sinking, and Julius Shaw remained inside.
But Nancy couldn't refuse Julius Shaw pushing her to safety, because refusing would only create an even greater crisis.
Julius Shaw tried hard to lift Nancy higher, allowing her to cling to the outside ground.
Nancy stopped thinking deeply, gritted her teeth and stepped on Julius Shaw's palm, climbing out from that crevice in the ground.
Once outside, Nancy lay flat on the ground, reaching her hand towards the crevice, calling out, "Julius Shaw, hurry up and grab my hand."
