Emma didn't know who informed her to come over, but she thought there was no malicious intent, so she didn't delve into it.
She quickly returned to the old town with Amelia, and Amelia said nothing.
Emma sighed; she felt that Amelia always carried a sense of loneliness, as if there was a barrier between her and everyone, unable to get too close.
Even she, or Teacher Robert, had only gotten slightly closer than others, but couldn't get any closer.
Amelia seemed ready to leave at any moment.
Amelia took off the sterile suit, took a shower, and then said to Emma, "Thank you today, I'm fine now. You can go back to school."
Emma was about to say it's just between friends, no need for thanks.
But Amelia continued, "Emma, if it's not necessary in the future, you shouldn't come to the old town."
Emma held back the words she wanted to say and asked with furrowed brows, "What do you mean?"
