It's not easy for someone as rigid and stubborn as Old Mr. Rowe to say thank you.
But everyone present knew that this gratitude was well-deserved.
This place was so remote that it took an hour for the ambulance to arrive. If it weren't for Amelia Wright's emergency aid, Matt Rowe might have been in real trouble.
Amelia Wright just kept her head down and said nothing.
Matt Rowe's family was abroad, so a few elders decided to stay here for a couple of days until Matt Rowe was completely out of danger.
Only then did Robert Reed ask, "Little apprentice, you even know medical skills? Why do you carry acupuncture needles with you?"
Amelia stiffened: "I used to learn a little... carrying needles is just a habit."
Robert Reed was glad and said, "That's a very good habit indeed. You saved my old friend's life. I'll stay here until Old Mr. Rowe is completely safe before going back. Anyway, you don't have any urgent matters, so stay here and relax for a few days."
