Amelia Wright picked up her phone and dialed Fiona Morgan.
The phone rang just once before Fiona answered.
Amelia got straight to the point: "Tomorrow afternoon, Cloudglow is holding a product launch. I'd like to invite you to attend. Are you free?"
Without hesitation, Fiona agreed, "Of course I'm free. What time tomorrow? I'll dress up for it."
Due to her brother's situation, Fiona had been looking for a chance to return a favor to Amelia.
But Amelia never asked for anything, leaving Fiona with no way to offer help. Now that Amelia was inviting her, she couldn't miss it, whether there was something to gain or not.
Amelia calmly stated, "After this, the matter with your brother that I helped with will be considered resolved."
Fiona hurriedly replied, "Amelia, no need to be so formal. I'm not busy anyway, coming over is no big deal."
Just attending an event can't compare to her brother's life matter.
