Amelia Wright stood in the hotel lobby, clutching the documents and evidence, feeling a bit anxious about meeting her brother again.
As she approached the door of the room she had inquired about, she tried to appear calm.
Taking a deep breath, she lifted her hand to knock on the door.
However, before Amelia's raised hand could touch the door, it was suddenly yanked open. Edward Allen, looking serious, was about to leave without sparing Amelia a glance.
Amelia quickly called out, "Wait, Mr. Allen, I have something important to show you."
Although Edward was in a hurry, his good manners prevented him from being too harsh: "Move aside!"
The two assistants at the door immediately stepped forward to pull Amelia away.
Amelia had worked hard to find her brother's address. If she missed this chance, she wouldn't be able to chase him back to the Capital City.
