Ava Kent's eyes narrowed slightly, a cold glint flashing within them. Her hand had already touched the gun in her bag, but before she could make a move, gunshots rang out from outside.
Barry's face changed. Just as he turned his head, with a bang, the car window shattered suddenly, and a bullet directly passed through his left shoulder.

He turned around incredulously, meeting Ava Kent's cold eyes, the muzzle of her gun still aimed at him.
