arly in the morning, an alarm clock started ringing. Guess it was 6:00am and someone needed to get up. Kelly started rolling in bed and stretched her arm to shut the clock up. It was so noisy and she was trying to dodge her daily routine. Luckily, her beautiful mom entered the room to ensure that something like this doesn't happen. She woke Kelly up so that she could get ready for school but Kelly refused.
"On a count of 5 Kelly. If you don't wake up, you know what's coming your way" The mom threatened
"mom it's Friday. Just for today. Let me sleep a bit longer. I failed to get sleep 'cause I was reading" In a weak voice, Kelly said but this didn't stop mummy's countdown

*splash*
"mom!!!" Kelly screamed out. Guess what this great mom did, she poured cold water on Kelly who was lying in bed, in assurance she will wakeup and yes she did.
"But mom, you wet me without warning" Kelly cried out.
"Didn't I warn you and besides you know that if you fail to wakeup, you'll face a consequence"
Kelly started remembering the many things her mom does when she fails to wake up. Like bringing in many dogs that lick her face and make her uncomfortable to sleep or when she turns on loud music so unable to sleep in noise and many more.
"But why did you do this?. Now I'm all wet for school" Kelly continued complaining.
"You haven't showered yet remember?" Mom reminded Kelly who thought she had showered.
"But now I have to wash the bedsheets"
"That's part of cleanliness" Mom continued reminding
"But not everyday.... It's tiresome"
"That's life and don't get annoyed, you'll grow old very fast. I've noticed you're always annoyed in the morning but okay I'll leave you to shower. On what I've done, I'm pretty sure you can't sleep again." Assured mom went to prepare breakfast for annoyed Kelly.
"it's because you wake me up badly mom!" Kelly shouted at the shut door. Still, she had nothing to do, she had to take a shower and head to school.
She took milk and bread for breakfast and soon went to school.
*At school*
"Hey Kelly" Everyone was saying hi to her everywhere she past. She was really popular in school. Very cool, beautiful, intelligent and a role model to many. Even teachers started respecting her. She ruled high school at 15 now what will happen when she turns 16 a few weeks from now. It will be hot fire.
"Can someone come over and explain nutrition?" The teacher of biology said in hope someone else will come over but as expected, it was only Kelly who raised up her hand.
"Anyone else..... (no one).. okay Kelly come over" She said but Kelly had already gone infront since she already knew none was coming. She knew how wise she was and became proud for that.
"First of all nutrition is the way organisms obtain food. For all who don't know what organisms are, organisms are living things. things that have life just like you. nutrition comes in two types. Heterotrophic and autotrophic nutrition. Heterotrophic is where organisms depend on others for food like Julie who is feeding on a banana in my lesson (everyone looked at Julie who was currently eating a banana. She felt so embarrassed and ran out of class). Allow me to continue. In Autotrophic nutrition, organisms make their own food like plants through the photosynthesis which I'm sure y'all ain't know what it means. So photosynthesis is the process by which plants make their own food..." She continued explaining nutrition until she was done.
The whole class clapped for her as instructed by the teacher. Kelly was mostly loved by people who weren't in class but those who were in her class, they hated her. She had that annoying attitude of knowing everything and being the brightest student in the whole academy and her arrogant style which attracted haters in her class and lovers outside her class. Most people just envied her.
During the chemistry lesson, she did the same and explained matter till the lesson was done. At first, teachers used to feel happy about it but now they aren't since they nolonger teach and it risks their jobs. Kelly nowadays became the teacher. There is even a time when she was taken to the principal's office for overbrighting teachers in an attitude of showing them you know nothing. She complained saying it's not her fault she's clever than them of which this statement led her to a one week suspension.
School was done when it was showing signs of thunder rain. For this reason, the school decided not to let off students until their parents came for them. Kelly's mom was busy at the moment so she sent a friend to pick Kelly up from school. The school allowed and soon Kelly couldn't even see a nose of the school.
In the middle of the journey it started raining heavily and giving a very unclear view to John, the friend
boom..... (lightning struck the car)
bang.... (accident)
Lightning struck the car where Kelly and John were hence leading to the accident.
When the news reached Kelly's mom, she rushed to the hospital where they were admitted from.
"We are truly sorry. We tried all we could but we couldn't save him" The doctors tried to tell Diana, Kelly's mom.
"Please make it clear doctor. I don't understand" She tried to believe that they were not telling her the truth
"We are very sorry ma'am but John is dead" The doctor made it clear for her. She couldn't believe it. This was not the truth. How could it even be. Her best friend, the one she was laughing with just yesterday has died, no, no these doctors are lying.
Tears started flowing from her eyes rapidly. She even lost the energy to stand so she sat down on the seats nearer to her. She was so close to John that she even forgot to ask about her daughter Kelly.
"And for Kelly she needs to undergo serious and quick operation. She got a severe wound on her head which might have affected the brain since she was first shocked by lightning then accident. Her chances of surviving are at 30%—" the doctor was still explaining Kelly's condition and he was cut off by Diana.
"Do whatever you can to save my daughter. Do you get it?" She asked in a loud voice but it had a note of sadness. The doctor didn't reply her because he's been through this like Diana is not his first client.
The operation lasted for 2 hours before the results came back.
"Your daughter is out of danger now but she has gone into comma. It will be hard to determine when she will wake up." The doctor told the truth but the person he was telling was in two dimensions. One for John and another for Kelly. Diana blamed herself for having sent John to pick Kelly up because if she didn't, John would still be alive. In a few words, she felt guilty.
*After 3 months*
"How are you feeling dear?" Diana happily asked Kelly who had recently woken up but all Kelly could do was to look at her like she didn't know her
"Fāshēngle shénme?" The so called Kelly asked in old Chinese trying to say (what happened) but since this was new china, Diana couldn't understand so she immediately called the doctor and asked him why Kelly is speaking in Traditional Chinese.
The doctor had no reply to this so they had to adjust a bit. They brought a translator and now they could understand what she meant. In all, the doctors concluded that Kelly is suffering a mental disorder.
The following days were cruel to Diana since she had to adjust to this new Kelly.
