The restaurant for dinner was chosen to be near the hotel where Oliver Bloom was staying.
It was only one kilometer away, so Elise Don and her group could walk there. The nanny pushed the stroller, and Elise walked alongside it, occasionally rolling a snowball to hand to Shane Bloom to play with.
Walking leisurely, what should have been a ten-minute walk turned into forty minutes, and Oliver followed behind without making a remark.
If the hotel hadn't called to ask why they hadn't arrived yet, threatening to cancel the reservation, Elise would have continued playing in the snow with her son. Finally conceding, she gave it up.
They split into two groups at the hotel; Oliver went to check in, put the luggage in the room, and then joined Elise and the others at the restaurant.
