In the morning, Marian Bloom was about to head out with a group of socialites when Oliver Bloom called to tell her she was going to be a grandmother. The news hit her like an atomic bomb.
Overjoyed, Marian Bloom almost jumped with excitement. After hanging up, she instructed her secretary to contact a private airline to immediately fly to Northflight City.
Nathan Perry, unaware of the news, entered from the garden, his hands covered in potting soil.
"Are you going to the Northern City?"
"No, it's us. We're going to the Northern City together."
Looking puzzled, Marian Bloom grinned, "We're going to be grandparents, so of course we must go see our daughter-in-law!"
Even the naturally stoic Nathan Perry couldn't remain calm. He paced around the house, repeatedly asking when they could secure a flight.
