When Elise arrived home, Oliver Bloom hadn't returned yet.
She kicked off her high heels and headed straight to the bathroom to take a shower, tossing her clothes on the floor of the walk-in closet.
After a night at the bar, full of all sorts of people, she was covered in the smell of alcohol and strange perfumes, which she didn't like. She scrubbed carefully from head to toe before soaking in the bathtub.
She set up her tablet on a small table, watching variety shows while relaxing, and remembered there were cherries in the fridge. Elise wrapped herself in a bathrobe and went out to get them.
As she opened the door, she realized Oliver Bloom had returned home, and she hadn't heard a thing.
Oliver was standing in front of a closet in the walk-in area, not looking back. He took off his tie and tossed it into the dirty laundry basket, then lowered his head, unbuttoning his shirt from top to bottom.
In a flash, he had taken off his shirt and thrown it in too.
