Elise Don angrily slapped away Oliver Bloom's hand and took a step back.
"Such consideration for me! You're just pretending to care about me as an excuse to distance yourself!"
Oliver Bloom: "That's not true, Elise..."
All those emotions buried deep within Elise, the ones she didn't want to confront, spilled uncontrollably at that moment.
"I know you married me just to prove you could, that you were forced to marry me. In your eyes, I'm also in it for the money, right?"
"So, this marriage is nothing but a burden to you!"
Elise accused with every word, retreating with every step, yet still felt the overwhelming presence of Oliver approaching her. No matter how he tried to deny it, she could overpower his words with even greater anger.
