It's been five days since she was marked, and her men kept her like a well-fed kitten. One of them was always there, giving her all the orgasms she wanted, and boy, did she want. It's like she's turned into some kind of sex addict, and she had to ask Nicole if that was normal. She said it was, that her pregnancy hormones were just going crazy, and she shouldn't worry, cause the men loved their mates at the late stages of pregnancy. That's why Sam has been taking on more roles, giving Bradley the allocated time all males receive before, during and after the birth. Trishanna hummed, glad for the explanation, but she didn't voice her real concern, which was that neither man had been inside her for days, and she felt like her body was starving. After what happened the last time, it was like it woke something within her, and she worried that something was wrong, but she didn't know how to share her frustrating concerns with them.
She lay in her room, their room, as her body hummed with pleasure. Bradley was wiping between her legs with a warm washcloth, her legs refusing to work, again, while James went to the kitchen to get her some strawberries. Her eyes fluttered open as Bradley drew the light cover over her naked body. Kissing her on her forehead, he turned to walk away when her arm shot out to grab his. She sat up, "Hey, I was wondering when you guys were going to tell both packs about us? I mean yours already knows, but I know clarity from the leaders is a good thing." Bradley sat on the bed, cupping her face. "Are you sure you don't want to wait until the pup is born?" James walked in at that moment, catching Bradley's question. He came over. "What's going on?" Bradley turned to him, "Our mate wants to know when we are going to tell the packs about our bond?"
James placed the bowl of fruit on the side table. "Shoot, I almost forgot about that. I guess we've been focused on making sure you're alright." Trishanna began to nod, but shook her head, "I do have something bothering me, but we can talk about that another time. One of the reasons I wanted to be marked is so that when we tell both packs, especially Bloodmoon, no one could oppose it, or say it is impossible because I bear the proof that it's real." James rubbed his chin, "You're right. I think it would be better for us to get it over wth, like ripping off the band-aid. I'll make the arrangements for us to head over."
Bradley stood, "I have a better idea. I think we should have everyone meet at one spot so we can tell them all. This way, we can quell any disagreements at once and show a united front." Trishanna held the sheet to her naked breast. "Then what, where will I be? Here or over there? Or is the plan for me to travel back and forth, since the pup is the son of one Alpha, but I'm mated to both?" James looked at them both. "Actually, I was wondering if joining both packs would be a good idea? I'm not sure how it would work, or if it could." Trishanna looked at him, "But wouldn't that mean that one of you will have to step down as Alpha?" James shrugged, "I would be happy to do that if it meant that you were safe. I know that Bradley is the better leader, and due to this, his pack is better off. My selfishness over the years has weakened Bloodmoon, I even hate the name. Not sure why my father chose it." Trishanna smiled, wanting to lighten the mood, "Maybe because the names Rainbow and Sunshine were taken?" she teased. James smiled at her attempt, but it didn't last long. "I'm serious, It would be better if we were absorbed by Bradley's pack and this way he could expand his territory."
Bradley frowned, "I have no intention of doing that. The only way for that to work would be if I had to physically fight you. Since we are both mated to Trish, I will not be the one to cause her pain directly or indirectly." James bowed his head. "Look, man, I just want to protect her and the babe. I don't want some a-hole challenging me for the right to be Alpha, and I won't be surprised if a few of them would. I can sense their hostility whenever I go back; many of the females do not like the fact that Trishanna is carrying my pup. I just want to keep them safe." his voice broke on the last word, his eyes misty. She knew he was concerned, but not like this. She knew that returning to Bloodmoon as their Luna was not going to be easy, but she'd already made up her mind. She squared her shoulders. Getting out of bed, she walked to James, cupping his face, she looked him straight in the eyes.
"I get that you're worried, and I am thankful for that, but I am now your Luna whether the others accept that or not. The most important thing is that I know and accept that. I will stand by your side, no matter what you do, but I will not tolerate you giving up on the chance for you as the Alpha to turn things around at Bloodmoon." She shrugged one shoulder, "I've seen the changes and those who don't like it are free to leave, but we are going to stay and we are going to build and transform it into something we can be proud to leave for our children." James just looked at her, his love for this woman, someone he thought was too weak, growing as she showed him just how strong she had become. He embraced her, his heart full to bursting. He just held her, both of them swaying gently as he used her belief to build his resolve to be the man, the leader and the father that she deserves. Bradley stepped beside them, his hand on each shoulder. "I guess our queen has spoken, and I think the sooner we make the announcement, the better it will be for everyone." They sat on the bed, Bradley bringing out a notebook and pen from the drawer next to it, and they began planning how to share the news with both packs.
In the end, they decided to use the area that held the empty buildings. James had already given the orders months ago for the unfit buildings to be demolished, and the ones that were good to be refurbished. He kept the one he used that fateful day all those months ago. Unsure if he should burn it down or fix it up. For the moment, he had it cleaned, minor repairs done, like changing the doors and replacing broken windows. He admitted to himself, he did it when he thought that he might lose not just her but his pack to a challenger, but now he knew that was not an option. They both had men working day and night, Bradley's influence vital in making it happen. A small platform was erected, and the space was cleared. They would gather there, having brought Trishanna earlier and kept her in one of the houses. Then in the afternoon, they would make their announcement. What Trishanna didn't know was that both men wanted to have the bonding ceremony then as well. They figured since both packs would be gathered, why not? They also discussed entering an alliance; this way, James will still be Alpha, leaving his child to be the next in line to inherit.
The day to inform the packs came. Trishanna was ordered to have a lazy morning as she would only be needed by mid-afternoon. Both men ensured before she left that she smelled like them. they wanted no one to be able to refute their claim to her, so aside from the large red love-bites allover her body, (she wondered how they even manged to leave one on her elbow), they ensured that she had them for breakfast and oh how she did, happily swallowing every last drop. She was sure that her tears smelled like them, even though they still refused to enter her, only rubbing and teasing her sensitive nub. She huffed at her thoughts, mad at them all over again, even as she tried to get her legs to work.
There was a knock at the door after lunch, and her post-lunch nap. Naps have become mandatory. She sat up, fighting to get her hair out of her eyes before bidding entry. Alexa peeped in, and when she saw that Trishanna was awake, she entered, followed by Trixy and Nicole, all women holding something in their hands. Alexa walked over to the closet and hung a garment bag. Nicole placed three boxes of shoes on the ground next to it, and Trixy placed her bag on the armchair. She clapped her hands. "Alright, Luna, time to get you ready." Trishanna looked at them, perplexed. "What's all this?" The three ladies shared a look. James and Bradley had shared their idea with them and their mates, so it was their duty to get her ready for the bonding ceremony, the one Trishanna knew nothing about. "Alpha Bradley just thought that you would need help getting ready, as your time is getting near. It's no big deal, and we are happy to help." Trishanna shrugged. "Alright, my first decree as Luna is for someone to help me out of this bed." They all laughed, and she made her way to the bathroom, where Alexa drew her a bath. Nicole returned with some lavender scented bath salts, and the two women helped her sit. Trishanna sighed as she leaned back, the scent warm and calming. The ladies excused themselves, each heading to their rooms to get ready, knowing that Bradley said to leave her in the bath for at least twenty minutes. An omega came in, bringing a tray of snacks, nuts and dried fruit, along with some ginger cookies and a glass of milk. Trishanna smiled in thanks, not so mad at her men.
Thirty minutes later, the ladies returned and helped her out of the bath. She had managed to wash her hair, and now she felt so clean and relaxed, she wished that she could just snuggle up under her blanket and binge-watch her favourite shows. She sighed, putting on her robe, knowing that today was a big day, but hopefully everything would go well and she could still catch an episode or two before her mates demanded her attention. Alexa helped dry her hair and began to style it. Nicole assisted in lathering her body with a lavender and vanilla scented lotion, the smell light and sweet. She just allowed herself to relax, knowing that her men wanted to take care of her even when they were away. Alexa began curling her hair, creating soft ringlets that she pinned in place until she was dressed.
Trixy then stepped forth, the bag she brought opened to reveal cosmetics. Trishnna arched one eyebrow, but let her do her best. She wasn't sure what the outcome would be as Trixy's look tends to lean toward punk rock/biker chick at midnight look. It suited her, with her purple streaks. She felt Trixy's hand sure as she applied lotion, concealer and all the other products one needed to look like you weren't wearing any makeup. When she stepped back, she handed Trishanna a mirror, She gasped when she saw how she looked. Trixy had given her a light makeup that accentuated her features. Her eyes looked large and deep, her lashes coated with three coats of mascara, which made them look longer. Her cheeks were a light pink and her lips, a shade darker, the gloss smelling faintly of strawberries. Trishanna turned this way and that, pleased at her look. She smiled up at her friend, "This looks amazing. You should think about being a beautician." Trixy blushed at the compliment, the other ladies humming in agreement. Alexa unzipped the garment bag to reveal a beautiful white dress made entirely of lace. The solid fabric underneath was skin-toned, so it looked like the wearer had on nothing underneath while still giving proper coverage. Nicole stepped forward with the open shoe boxes in her hand. "Come on, based on which shoes you pick, we can then choose the matching accessories." She had a pair of white, a pair of silver and a pair of light gold shoes. Trishanna picked the gold one, and Nicole helped her slip them on. They had a small heel, nothing her achy feet couldn't handle. Besides, if she got tired, one of her mates would just carry her around. She stood, and they helped her into the lacy garment, the bell sleeves making her look like a fairy. They completed the look with a pair of gold and diamond studs, a thin gold chain that lay just right on her breast, which looked larger and felt heavier than usual. A gold band on her right wrist completed the look. Alexa urged her back to the chair where she unpinned the curls, draping, finger-combing and repinning some to give her an elegant yet simple updo, a few soft curls framing her face, leaving her neck exposed for all to see her marks.
Trishanna stepped to the full-length mirror, turning this way and that, never feeling so beautiful in her life. She wished Rosie were here, and he closed her eyes, not wanting to ruin the makeup Trixy worked so hard on. She turned back to them, her arms opened wide. They embraced each other, Trishanna's gratitude whispering in the room. A knock sounded, and they pulled apart. Alexa sniffed, "That's Sammy. He's been tasked with bringing you to the location. She nodded, but turned, "Just a minute, I have to pee." The ladies laughed, knowing just how it feels. She returned, and Sammy whistled low in his throat. "Damn Rosebud, if I'd known you clean up so nicely, I might have made a move." He winked at his mate, and Alexa just rolled her eyes, her silent jealousy from when they'd first met, long gone. He kissed his mate, telling her how lovely she looked, caressing her baby bump. The two shared a moment before he stepped back. His first duty as Delta was to ensure his Luna's safe arrival.
He crooked his arm, and Trishanna took it, smiling at him. "You know, if I had known that you would clean up so well, I might have let you." They laughed and headed downstairs, where Lorenzo waited for them. He motioned for Nicole and Trixy to go with him in one vehicle while Samuel and Trishanna went with the other.
Trishanna frowned, not sure why she thought they would walk. Sammy laughed at her. "You silly goose. Did you think that the Alphas would have you walk? You're not going to the backyard." She pouted, hating the scolding voice he always used since they were little. "I don't know what I thought. But isn't the meeting place between the packs?" Samuel helped her in before he entered the backseat from the other side. "Well, you're not wrong. Hmm... instead of thinking of the pack and the spot in a straight line running left to right, think of it as a triangle with the pack at the two points at the bottom and the meeting place at the top. Bradley bought any available land around it and quickly made a road. Now, it's not the best, and definitely not straight, but he did all he could to ensure that you would be safe. The driver knows to take his time, that's what the Doc was just scolding him about." Trishanna nodded, her brow clearing at his explanation.
She leaned back, relishing the calm she always felt when she was with her brother like this. She held his hand, and he squeezed it, both of them knowing that without saying a word, they were thinking of the only mother they ever had. "I wonder if they would let me visit her today? After the announcement?" Sammy squeezed her hand. "I'm sure they will."
She leaned back, closing her eyes, yet something felt... off. She reached out to El, but she seemed distracted. Pacing around in her mind, her ears twitching, her nose sniffing the air at regular intervals. "Is something wrong?" she asked her counterpart. "Not sure", was all she said. She doubted that they were in danger, Sammy told her that both men had placed warriors at intervals along the path, and they had already secured the entire area. Trishanna tried to relax, to inhale and calm her mind, but El's strange behaviour made her a bit uneasy.
