All of us just stared at the Comissar that was asking us to kneel like he was crazy.
He seemed to take offense at our reaction and shouted in an even louder voice, "I said kneel!!"
Odeta dug her ear with a finger, "We heard you the first time. There's no need to shout."
The guy got even angrier, "If you heard me then why aren't you kneeling?! Do you not see what I am?!"
Lisa shrugged, "You're a Comissar, big deal. Do you think you're some kind of big shot just because of that?"
He obviously was not expecting such a response from us and was just stuck staring at us for a good long minute, enough time for the slavers to reach us.
All of them surrounded us, making sure that we had nowhere to escape to, not that we were planning to escape to begin with anyway.
Also… I checked… This guy was not an Off-Worlder…
