To the far west of the northwest lands lies a mountain range that stretches for three thousand miles. Its treacherous terrain is beyond description, towering a thousand zhang high, with sparse vegetation and even fewer beasts.
Suddenly, the mountain's tranquility was shattered by the rumbling of thunder.
The few beasts in the mountains raised their heads in awe of the thunder.
Yet before they could discern the storm clouds above, a louder thunderous roar erupted, its sound nearly shattering them in its force.
The entire mountain range, dense and impenetrable, was abruptly sliced apart by a rainbow light, forming a colossal rift that could be called a sky-line canyon.
It was as if a divine sword descended from the heavens, cleaving it in two.
The beasts, once part of the same mountain but now separated by the sky-line canyon, looked at each other in bewildered fear, then simultaneously noticed the "creature" that had split the mountain.
