"Why do you press so hard," the child said, shaking his head.
"We're merely seeking the way to break the impasse."
"What is this way to break the impasse," Xu Zimei retorted.
"It allows my tribe to be as vast and enduring as the sea, continuously strong," the child responded.
"What did those clan promise you, making you use your tribe's essence blood to perceive celestial secrets," Xu Zimei asked.
"Generous, so generous that we find it hard to refuse," the child replied.
"You cannot provide what they offered."
"I cannot provide it?" Xu Zimei asked, intrigued.
"Do you know my origins?"
The child shook his head.
He said, "Our Ancient Remnants Tribe doesn't easily divine for ourselves.
Because divination gets less accurate the closer it is to oneself.
But knowing I did the significant act of revealing celestial secrets, fearing a looming catastrophe, I divined for myself.
And also divined for our Ancient Remnants Tribe."
