About twenty minutes later, Lucy Ansley returned to the western restaurant and saw a man leaning against the car, smoking, as soon as she reached the entrance.
She paused, silently hiding her hands behind her back, trying to conceal the gift bag in her hand.
"Did you go to the mall's restroom?"
Henry Ronan slightly lifted his arm, a mysterious smile playing in his deep dark eyes.
Lucy took a small step forward, stood on the other side of the car, and nodded, "Mhm, the restaurant's restroom is out of order."
Just as she finished speaking, two young women happened to walk out of the restaurant from the left front.
"Valentine's Day without a lover, the two of us are quite miserable."
"Oh right, right, I just went to their restroom, and the aroma there is particularly nice. Hang on, I'm going to ask what brand it is."
Lucy scratched her nose, "..."
Opposite her, Henry watched her with leisure, not saying anything, but his dark eyes held an unrestrained tease.
