A few days went by me and Ayeina soon got close, and since she doesn't have anywhere to live and apparently I kidnap her but did save her so it's my responsibility to, well take care of her and she and I soon get comfortable with each other that she would tell me stories about her world, even though she slip some word that doesn't exist here in this world I would just pretend to be confuse and she would just cover it up with words.
Noticing her attempt to hide it just made her silly, so I laughed out loud, which made her blush so hard that the tips of her ears were blood red.
I look at her with intensity that I didn't even realize that I raised my right hand to touch her blushing cheeks, but before I could place my palm on her face, a sudden flap of wings and a gust of wind surprised me, making me embarrassed, as I lowered my hand and unfortunately Ayeina noticed my movement.
I stood up and looked at the person who is my father's Attendant now bowing as soon as he saw me.
"What does Father need. " I said as I straightened my back, Ayeina is doing something to keep herself busy in the back by roasting some sweet potatoes, but that doesn't hide that she is silently listening.
" The General ordered me to tell the young master to come to the meeting hall directly," he said, making me frown, but I soon nodded.
"Alright, lead the way. " But before I go, I look towards Ayeina and give her an assuring look.
" I'll be back. " I said as I flap my wings and launch myself through the sky, and follow my Father's Attendant to the meeting hall that is unusually packed with high-ranked Elders.
I soon land on the marble floor, and walk towards the front hall where the higher-ups ups especially my father are waiting and are now settled in their seats at the high platform looking down at the gathering winged beings.
I stood at the front as I looked up to the flat form, after the crowd had quieted down the announcer stood up and declared the start of the meeting as the Eagle King ordered.
Father stood up tall and looked down at the crowd with his cold gaze with a swift movement he took a scroll and unraveled it.
"For this sudden gathering, the King of the Lions sent a letter hours ago, the contents as follows, the Lion King directly asked for forgiveness for what happened days ago when my daughter rescued the female from the Monkey Clan, and also initiated a peace treaty. " my father said with his powerful and loud voice.
Hearing it others snicker because of The Lion King lowering his pride and even make the first move to announce a peace treaty even other Elders almost burst out laughing, no one knows but the Eagle Clan is naturally playful hunters and that kind of personally came when they're just young but when fully grown they develop seriousness but that didn't hide the playfulness of each other.
" And to avoid disagreement let us vote as His Majesty commanded. " After hearing the announcement everyone quieted down and put on their serious expression.
Many vote No while some vote Yes but unfortunately for others who disagree with the peace treaty the majority vote to agree with the peace treaty to avoid conflict that would lead to war.
After the voting, my Father then ordered a messenger to deliver the reply for the Lion King and soon gestured for me to come up the flat form.
With one powerful flap of my wings dust gushed as I flew up soon glided down to gently step on the flat form.
There I saw my Father, His Majesty, and some high-ranking Elders look at me with calculating glances, I stiffened when I felt their sharp stares.
"Ummm." I softly hummed with confusion and finally, my father wanted to break the tense atmosphere cough, and look at His Majesty.
The man sat in a bone iron throne with his large maroon colored wings spread at his sides looked at me and stood up.
" As the letter of the Lion King has said, which is a peace treaty is insisted but he also sent another letter... A request.. No more like an order, he liked to bring back the female you took from them." His Majesty said to wait for my answers whether I agree or not.
But unfortunately for the Lion King's request to get back Ayiena, over my dead body I thought to myself as I frowned and looked at His Majesty with different intensity.
" I'm afraid my Answer is to disagree with the Lions' request your Majesty, if they want the female they must come through me first, if they want war then let them come to our territory with mountains as our advantage they are just simply ants. " I said with a serious tone with the hint of murder.
His Majesty smirked hearing my Answer and soon laughed other Elders followed and soon my Father laughed.
I was surprised by their sudden laughter, my face turned red as I thought to myself if what I said was too silly, I snapped out of my wonder when my Father patted my shoulder with pride.
" As expected, your daughter is really your pride and joy Caden. " His Majesty said as he wiped the tears produced by his laughter.
"Thank you for the compliment Your Majesty. " Father bowed.
"Well good answer, we Eagle Clan don't just agree to requests from anyone like those disgusting prideful Lions, I'll write a letter to disagree with the Lion King's demand rest assured. " He said and I sighed in relief and bowed gratefully to His majesty.
Soon the meeting ended with His Majesty giving me berries and bananas I thought it was just a normal gift but soon he said that these fruits help fertility I was shocked and took it with embarrassment my face burning.
My father simply patted my head and soon said his goodbye because his busy life as a General I nodded and flew to the air going in the direction of my home cave where Ayiena is waiting for me.
