"Correct," Jiang Shu nodded and began his smooth talk, "You must have realized by now that you are a dead man, and I can grant you new life."
"Indeed, I am dead," Tang looked at his hands, trying to pinch them. He still felt pain and then retorted, "So, what's the price?"
"Allegiance to me," Jiang Shu said indifferently.
"Oh? I doubt the fox would agree, right?" Tang also replied with a light smile, having regained his calm and reason from his initial surprise.
"You and he don't need to appear at the same time," Jiang Shu answered without hesitation.
"Then, what shall I use to prove my allegiance to you?" Tang continued to ask, but there were no longer any superfluous emotions visible on his face.
That ordinary face once again took on a lifeless, dreary color, just like when Jiang Shu used to see him.
