Kizaru's words surprised Liam, but he didn't think too much about it. After all, he wasn't wrong.
Pirates and marines wouldn't be friends. Even someone like Coby would do everything he could to stop Luffy, whether it was when saving Ace or going after One Piece.
Kizaru spun his light sword and brought it down towards Liam's neck. But using his sword, Liam deflected Kizaru's attack.
Liam then suddenly disappeared in front of Kizaru and appeared behind him, thrusting his sword towards Kizaru.
Although he was extremely fast, Kizaru was no slouch either. He managed to turn his body into light photons, predict where Liam was going to attack, and dodge it.

Despite that, Liam's sword pierced the left side of his stomach.
Although wounded, Kizaru wasn't a bit worried. He had already managed to turn his body into light, which allowed him to escape after getting attacked.

'This is dangerous. His ability to move at such a speed while locking his target with Observation Haki is very dangerous for me. Even if I want to use Future Sight on a regular basis, I still need to be calm enough to do so.'
'A small distraction is more than enough for him to launch a sneak attack. So, I need to be careful with this.'
Just when he was thinking about it, his Observation Haki gave him a strong warning as he sensed Liam appearing next to him.
This time, he was able to perceive Liam because the distance between them was far enough.
Since Liam wasn't using teleportation and Observation Haki could easily predict his next movements, if he didn't try this move when he was near his target, it was easy to counter.
Kizaru simply stretched out two of his fingers, gathered a large amount of light particles in front of his fingers, and condensed a gigantic ball of light.
Although Liam was moving at an extremely fast speed, he was still able to perceive this kind of attack.
In less than a second, his mind figured out the potency of this attack, and he stabbed his sword into the ground, stopping himself from moving forward.
He stomped on the ground with full force and pushed himself back, flying in the air.

The ball of light struck where Liam was moving towards and exploded. A huge chunk of the land disappeared, followed by a massive outburst of flames and dust clouds.
The shockwave from the explosion began to uproot everything around them, while sending Liam flying even faster. Despite that, he had some burnt marks.
He underestimated the explosion range of that ball. Even though he tried his best to move back, he was still caught in it.
If the shockwave hadn't sent him flying, his skin would've burned even more.
'Damn it! I didn't expect Kizaru to have such a move. Then again, it makes sense. After all, he has shown the ability to use light to make massive explosions.'
'It seems like I need to be careful with how I move.'
Liam thought to himself while landing on the ground. When he was on his feet, he felt a bit better.
As for the burned marks, they didn't much to him.
Liam released his Observation Haki, sensed Kizaru's presence, and quickly started making a plan.
He could use other things to sense Kizaru and launch an attack. He didn't need those kunai and shurikens.
They had two purposes. The first was to make his enemy believe that they were the key to his high-speed attacks. The second was to make his perception stronger.
Kizaru wasn't standing near any of those, so this kind of attack wouldn't be that easy, especially if Kizaru perceived him and used another trick that he hadn't seen before.
Suddenly, Kizaru seemed to have disappeared from his perception. He immediately knew that Kizaru had travelled far away to gain some speed.
Since he knew what Kizaru was going to do, he started making preparations, after all, this wasn't a kind of attack he would take head-on.
Especially when the Sabody was surrounded by the sea, and he could only use Geppo to fly.
Liam closed his eyes for a moment, released his Observation Haki, and tried sensing Kizaru.
Even with his Observation Haki, he couldn't sense dozens if not hundreds, of kilometers away. By the time he sensed Kizaru, he was already moving forward at a great speed.
Fortunately, he was prepared.
He raised his hand, a powerful red flames burst around his sword as he coated his sword with Fire and Haki.
Two colors of Haki coated around his swords as he held the sword handle with two hands and pulled it up, making an upward diagonal cut.

The collision between light and flame shook the very island. The shaking island affected other islands as well, and even more so the sea.
The hurricane of fire and light emerged above them, while the sound of the explosion soon followed.
The collision of the fire and light created so much heat and pressure that it started going nuclear explosion in the middle.
Even Liam and Kizaru's expressions were drastically changed when they sensed the power of the explosion.
They both abandoned the attack the moment it appeared and tried flying as far away as they could.
Kizaru relied on his light fruit to move several dozen kilometers away from the island while Liam tried using his full-powered Soru towards the sea.

An explosion the size of an island emerged.

But it was soon followed by another explosion from another island. The entirety of Sabody shook as the sea level began to make waves around them.
The mangrove trees began to tremble while the island itself was almost destroyed, leaving only debris of the land and buildings.
The greenery of the island had disappeared, several mangrove trees were wiped out, and the explosion caused by Kizaru and Liam became so intense that the island was almost impossible to use once again.
Seeing this, both Liam and Kizaru chose another island.
At this moment, except for a few strong-willed individuals, everyone else had already left the Sabody.
After all, even before this incident started, many people were forced to leave the Sabody due to the Celestial Dragon's incident.
Then, the news of the two Admirals' attack was also spread among the people living on the island.
Though many people living in Sabody left they realized the level of destruction caused in this place.

"That was so scary. You are really scary, Liam."
Kizaru narrowed his eyes underneath those sunglasses and spoke with a nonchalant attitude as if their battle didn't just destroy an entire island.
"Hey, I can't be blamed for that. You were the one who used such a powerful attack on me. I had no choice but to respond with a similar attack."
Liam said while quietly grasping his sword hilt while taking out a small card from his pocket.
Kizaru didn't seem aware of this action as he continued asking.
"But I am curious. You seemed quite prepared for my attack, but if I remember correctly, this is the first time we fought. So, how did you know I could use such an attack?"
After learning so many things from Liam, Kizaru was starting to doubt Liam's identity.
Because some of the information that Liam passed on shouldn't be news, but rather secret information.
They were called secret for a reason.
So, he wondered how Liam got his hands on those pieces of information.
More importantly, Liam wasn't too old either. He was almost as old as Zoro.

"Who knows?"
"But Kizaru, should you be this careless?"
Just when he said that, Liam disappeared.
He disappeared from the island entirely. Of course, he was moving too fast, so Kizaru had no choice but to release his Observation Haki to sense his presence.
And when he did that, his eyes shrank instantly as he tried to turn himself into light.
But just before that, Liam's sword slashed through his neck. No Conqueror Coating but with Advanced Armament, Liam managed to slice Kizaru's head off.
