Hill has absolutely no interest in figuring out how the Toril Deities plan to deal with the Mulholland Pantheon.
He has already made up his mind that once the World Gate opens, he will immediately leave this troublesome place.
If he hadn't been clear-headed this time... If Fran hadn't been there all along, Hill definitely wouldn't want to affect his grandfather, who dreams of traveling the Multiverse, because of something he might have done. There were several times when he almost couldn't resist intervening.
