A decade ago, when someone as great as Alabasta died in order to save her and Vance, there was not much emotion in Remira's heart.
Even when she was taken under the tutelage of A Raidant Angel, she didn't speak much of her emotions.
One can even say that the sequence of events and tragedies has left her numb at this point.
You can only blame yourself to a certain extent; the tears will dry up after a point, which is what happened with Remira. Like a machine, she did as was instructed, unlike the Driven Vance, who had lost his teacher, who was closer to being his father. Remira just went through the motions for the most part.
