Jera, who was reviewing documents, suddenly raised his head: "What did you say? Who sent someone?"
It's no wonder Jera looked incredulous, after all, their relationship with the Mist God hadn't been particularly good. Initially, they were neighboring lands, and then Jera personally intervened to seize the Great Swamp from the Mist God, which allowed him to break through to a Middle-Level God.
The Mist God also launched attacks on Jera; the two had directly confronted each other in the past.
If Jera hadn't quickly broken through to the Middle-Level God, facing the Mist God would have been unpleasant even if he survived.
Originally, Jera was planning to eliminate the Mist God once his territory expanded to the point of heavily bordering the Mist God's territory. Although Jera wouldn't let personal grudges affect the plans of the gods, he certainly held his grudges.
