Polly Sutton responded, asking the grandfatherly butler to go on ahead; she needed to first comfort her eldest son, who was crying miserably.
"What plants?" Victor Parker tidied up the medical kit and asked.
"The ones my mom liked when she was alive." Polly Sutton didn't hide anything. After speaking, she noticed Victor Parker's expression change somewhat, "My dad replaced many plants in the yard before, likely those your dad prefers, though I don't know what happened during this period that made them feel life was meaningless. However, I always feel that as long as there is love, one would want to live a little longer."
Victor Parker placed the medical kit aside, lifted little Benny who wanted to see his brother onto the bed, "Benjamin Chu's organs are deteriorating much faster than anticipated. I think I might know why he suddenly gave up."
"Why?" Polly Sutton gently patted little Tommy, who was whimpering, and looked at Victor Parker.
