After sending the butler away, Polly Sutton commented as she stood by Lucas Rook, "This yard looks much more lively than when I came before."
"You came during winter last time," Lucas replied sharply.
Polly: "..."
Her own father really did not spare her any face, but luckily, Polly had a thick skin and didn't mind at all.
"The word 'lively' doesn't only mean green," Polly said, sitting down next to her father, "It also depends on the owner's mood, doesn't it?"
"What are you trying to persuade me into now? I'm not getting involved in their father-son issues." Lucas placed the watering can aside and wheeled himself under another tree to continue watering.
Polly followed him, "I'm not here to persuade you, I just need some professional advice."
Upon hearing this, Lucas's initial wariness seemed to melt away, "A recent competition?"
"Yeah, the design is here. Could you take a look? I feel like there's still something off."
