The entire city's flights and transportation were all canceled in an announcement early the next morning.
This meant that S City was temporarily in a state of short-term lockdown. The people here seemed already used to it and didn't have much of a reaction.
"Mommy, look at the heavy snow." Little Tommy leaned against the window, looking outside. The whole city seemed to have turned into a vast expanse of white overnight.
Polly Sutton held him away from the window. The blizzard covered the entire city, and this kind of whiteness was harmful to the eyes.
"Mommy, I want to play in the snow," Little Tommy said enthusiastically. City A also snowed, but it would never snow this much.
"If you go out, your little ears will freeze off." Polly Sutton held him back to the bed, pinched his little nose, "Look, your brother isn't going out because he knows it's really cold outside."
