Their men had suddenly been arrested. And they had to go to court to be sentenced! The more these women thought about this, the angrier they became. It clearly wasn't their fault, yet their men had all been taken away! As a result, no one was left to do the farm work. The household chores also fell to them, a group of women.
"I also seem to have received a notice from the court a couple of days ago," said one woman. "It said the trial for the bridesmaid case will take place in four days, and that we could attend."
"I received the same notice," another retorted. "My son was stabbed and seriously injured, and now the trial's finally about to happen. But didn't they already release the bridesmaid?"
"I don't understand the situation either. If they were going to hold a trial, why release her?"
"Then why can't our men be released? I've been to the detention center several times, and they won't let me see my husband."
The women continued to grumble amongst themselves.
