I thought so.
However, the results were extremely disappointing.
After repeated searches, we failed to find even a suspected target. Instead, we inadvertently caught several unknown nationality submarines trying to fish in troubled waters...
After triple-checking the scope of the search area to be correct, the sonar just couldn't seem to detect their presence, which left me in a state of confusion for a while.
To stay undetected amidst such frequent human maritime transport activities, not even sonar's exhaustive search could do anything.
How could they hide so deeply? What exactly is their trick?
Could it be that this 'nest' really has no physical form?
Sonar... sound...
Could it be...
In the end, I could only come up with two possible guesses.
The first is that they used bionic camouflage, rendering our advanced sonar unable to differentiate the target from ordinary marine life.
The second is that they possess 'active sound suppression' technology.
