Ring ring, ring ring.
In this eerie atmosphere, the phones in the office started ringing almost simultaneously.
The staff responsible for answering these calls turned pale after hearing the content.
They immediately stood up and ran to Davis, handing their wireless phones to him.
Looking at the array of phones in front of him, Davis furrowed his brows and angrily shouted:
"What the hell is going on, get out of here, can't you see I'm busy? Answer the phone, go to hell with answering calls." (PS: Although he was speaking English, that's roughly the translation. Hehe.)
However, hearing Davis's outburst, the staff did not leave.
Despite their timid expressions, they persisted in handing the phones over and cautiously said:
"Boss, it's a call from the Department of Defense of the United States. Their head wants you to take the call."
"Boss, this call is from the Communications Authority, their head wants you to answer."
