Chapter 8 - Cecilia's Changes (Rewrite)

[: 3rd POV :]

Just a day ago, Daniel had been wondering when he might ever reach the heights of the most powerful cultivators—never imagining that all of it could be achieved in the blink of an eye.

Watching Cecilia cultivate with such speed, he let out a chuckle at how surreal her growth felt.

If those top cultivators knew what he'd accomplished so effortlessly, they'd likely lose all reason to keep striving.

Still, at least now he had no worries.

With his current strength alone, the idea of destroying an entire continent with a mere finger wasn't a joke—it was well within reach.

If power could be measured by numbers, his prowess would stretch endlessly beyond comprehension, even without factoring in his cultivation rank.

And now, he intended to wield that power to serve his own goals.

After all, a man has his dreams and priorities—and Daniel would be a fool not to chase what he truly desired.

A harem? That was a fine dream worth pursuing.

With the power and resources he commanded, he doubted any cultivator would dare to stand against him.

This was a world where cultivators fought ruthlessly for every advantage, where men and women would kill to claim the perfect partner.

Strength ruled everything here, bending reality until lies became truth.

Meanwhile, Daniel noticed Cecilia's cultivation advancing at a breathtaking pace.

Within a minute, she broke into the 2nd Layer.

Two minutes later, the 3rd Layer.

And by the ten-minute mark, she had soared to the 10th Layer of the Mortal Rank.

But she didn't stop.

She pressed onward, relentless.

Meanwhile, Daniel checked on his Infinite Farms, his eyes scanning the vast quantities he'd accumulated.

Seeing the numbers before him, he couldn't help but break into a gleeful smile.

'I knew the amount gathered in a single day would be staggering, he thought, but seeing it with my own eyes is something else entirely'

His heart raced as he took in the sheer volume of spiritual stones now in his possession—resources he could claim once every day.

[: Current Spiritual Stones :]

White Spiritual Stone: 1,000,000

Blue Spiritual Stone: 100,000

Purple Spiritual Stone: 10,000

Red Spiritual Stone: 1,000

Orange Spiritual Stone: 100

Gold Spiritual Stone: 10

Immortal Crystal: 1

The quantity he held was enough to nurture mortals into a well-known cultivator.

He was exhilarated, pondering the immense value of spiritual stones.

Typically, spiritual stones were vital tools for cultivation—the higher the grade, the more valuable the stone.

The pinnacle of such resources in the Mortal Realm was the legendary Gold Spiritual Stone.

Yet Daniel held ten Gold Spiritual Stones.

Owning even a single Gold Spiritual Stone was an incredible feat—something most cultivators could only dream of.

Having one Immortal Spiritual Stone was an even rarer treasure, one that even Emperors and Empresses dared not overlook.

Spiritual mines were scarce, and discovering a high-quality vein was like searching for a needle in a haystack.

And yet, Daniel had amassed thousands of these precious stones in just one day.

He swallowed hard, fully grasping the immense potential of his infinite mine.

At the same time, this abundance allowed him to nurture his disciples more effectively, and he eagerly anticipated their reactions.

'With the sect's spiritual vein and my disciples' constitutions, these spiritual stones are an overwhelming wealth of resources—almost too abundant to spend.'

He pondered aloud, 'What are the best ways to utilise these stones?'

While most cultivators struggled to even acquire spiritual stones, Daniel faced a far different problem: how to wisely spend such an excess of them.

[: The host can utilise spiritual stones daily or monthly to support disciples in the future :]

[: The system recommends using them as an incentive to attract potential disciples :]

"I see... then I'll follow the suggestion."

Daniel understood how vital resources were for cultivators, so spiritual stones would undoubtedly serve as a powerful lure for future disciples.

He wasn't concerned about the quantity—if he could gather this much in a day, he shuddered to think how many he could accumulate in a month.

While contemplating the endless supply of spiritual stones, he remembered the seeds he had yet to plant.

Without hesitation, he took them out and sowed them across his farm space.

After waiting for half an hour—equivalent to five years in cultivation time—he returned to the farm and was met with a fascinating sight.

The World Tree seed had grown into a small tree, its thick roots sprawling throughout the farm and intertwining with the Immortal Peach Tree.

Together, these two spiritual trees were thriving and approaching the Mystic Rank.

Nearby, a golden tree stood heavy with golden apples, ripe and ready to be harvested.

"It's not time to consume these precious treasures just yet," he mused.

"I'll wait until they've matured for millions of years—I wonder what incredible effects they'll have then."

As Cecilia neared the breakthrough to the Foundation Realm, her body began to tremble violently, her aura surging outward in a powerful shockwave that rippled through the very air around her.

A biting chill swept over the surroundings, and the ground beneath her feet hardened, frost creeping across the earth as if the world itself had been frozen in place.

Time seemed to halt—each second stretching into eternity—as though she had literally stopped the flow of reality.

Her aura thickened, becoming heavy and dense, wrapping around her like an impenetrable veil of icy power.

When she finally opened her eyes, a commanding, almost overwhelming presence radiated from her—an aura so fierce it could freeze even a Peak 10th Stage Origin Realm cultivator solid.

Yet Daniel stood calmly beside her, the cold wind teasing his hair but leaving him utterly untouched, his expression steady and proud.

"Congratulations, my dear disciple," he said gently, warmth shining through his smile.

"You have officially become a disciple, reaching the 1st Layer of the Foundation Realm."

Before he could say more, Cecilia suddenly leapt into his arms, tears threatening to spill over, but held back by the overwhelming gratitude flooding her heart.

"Master... thank you—for everything," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.

Daniel softened, wrapping a comforting hand around her, gently caressing her hair as if to soothe both her and himself.

"There, there," he murmured, his voice steady and reassuring.

In that moment, words weren't needed.

"Are you feeling better now, my disciple?"

Daniel asked gently, his voice filled with genuine concern as he watched her steady herself.

Cecilia blinked, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

"Yes, Master… I'm sorry for showing you such an ugly side of myself," she whispered, afraid she had tarnished his impression of her.

Daniel shook his head softly, a warm smile touching his lips.

"There's no need to worry about that. I am your master—I am here to care for you."

He stepped closer, his tone growing firm yet tender.

"Once you become my disciple, you become my responsibility. I will mend what's broken and forge something new."

He paused, eyes locking onto hers with unwavering sincerity.

"There is nothing more precious to me than the lives of my disciples."

With that, he produced a handful of pills, rewards from the system, carefully selected for her.

"Now that you have reached the Foundation Realm, take these."

Without hesitation, Cecilia nodded and swallowed the pills, one by one, feeling their effects ripple through her body.

The Grade 5 Purifying Pill worked first—cleansing the filth that had long corrupted her blood.

She could feel a warmth spreading, her lifespan extending as her blood flowed stronger, health regenerating faster with every heartbeat.

The Grade 2 Restoration Vitamin Pill flooded her system with nutrients she had long been deprived of, revitalising her frail frame.

Her body began to change—once skinny and fragile, it thickened and strengthened, transforming her appearance entirely.

The Grade 1 Bone Refinement Pill reinforced her skeleton, hardening her bones, while the Grade 4 Body Strengthening Pill fortified every muscle fibre, vessel, organ, and vein—making her body resilient beyond anything she had ever imagined.

Lastly, the Grade 3 Cleansing Pill purified her bone marrow from deep within—an inner purification complementing the outer cleansing from before.

As the pills took hold, Cecilia's transformation became undeniable. She emerged like a goddess, radiating a beauty and strength that stirred admiration and envy alike.

Even Daniel felt a pull of attraction he hadn't expected.

Tears welled in Cecilia's eyes as she threw herself into his arms.

"Master… thank you… for everything."

Her emotions overwhelmed her; despite her efforts to remain composed, she couldn't hold back the flood of gratitude and hope.

Daniel remained silent, gently stroking her hair, grounding her in the moment.

"You are the only one to me," she whispered fiercely, a tremor of obsession threading through her words.

"I won't forgive you if you ever abandon me…"

Daniel's embrace tightened, his voice resolute yet soothing. "I will never abandon you, nor any of my disciples."

They stayed locked in that embrace for a long time—two souls quietly finding solace and strength in each other—until Cecilia finally felt a fragile peace settle within her.
